We had patio doors and Windows installed several years ago now, after having been solicited by Selig. The salesman guaranteed us a lifetime warranty, saying (and writing on our contract) that even if we threw a ball through the window by accident it would be repaired at no cost. First experience was when one of our screens was torn and we wanted it replaced. They provided the screen free of charge. but then charged us nearly $100 ti replcae it. Ridiculous!! Then, and this is the kicker. a piece of our locking mechanism oin the patio door broke off two years ago. I called to either get it fixed or have a replacement part sent to me. I have now called three times in two years, speaking with a receptionist who sends me to voice mail for service. I left my concern, and have NEVER gotten a response. So here I am two years later with a back door that won't lock. Don't believe their promises. ..
